Who we are

We are so glad you’re here! Jacksons Wicks is in honor of our sweet baby boy who passed away on January 8th, 2025. On January 7th 2025, I was given the news that I was diagnosed with Incompetent Cervix (IC) and Preterm Premature Rupture of Membranes (PPROM). The percentage of this happening in moms is 1%. Unfortunately, I was apart of the 1% and our son, Jackson James Winslow was born prematurely at 21 weeks and 5 days. Normally, IC and PPROM would be caught between 14-18 weeks of pregnancy but mine was caught too late. This is a horrible medical condition and not enough attention is brought to it within the medical system. As my husband and I are so brokenhearted about this situation, we never want to stop talking about Jackson or bringing awareness to IC and PPROM. While we miss Jackson beyond words can describe, we know he is waiting for us in Heaven. We hope our candles bring you light and joy as Jackson has brought us.
